Challenge

4‑H and FFA participants as well as those who raise and sell animals to local markets were searching for a better way to track and measure costs and profits.

At the time there were few options available with features that supported all aspects of animal husbandry. Farmers were seeking a solution that was mobile friendly for use in the field.

Solution

Project scope consisted of application build-out and design from the ground up. Assisted in requirements gathering and establishing product features and functionality.

As a Product Designer I was responsible for delivering design and branding with mock-ups and other UX artifacts prepared for handoff to an IT development team.

Created for users who want to track individual animal's acquisition information, including weight, cost, and acquisition dates. In addition, users can track an animal's growth and weight gain, as well as costs associated with feed, veterinary medicine, harvesting, and processing.
